Old Testament Challenge: Spring

This spring we will again go through a part of the Old Testament and take a bird’s eye view of the landscape and literature that God’s first covenant has for us.

Last year we looked at the first five books, the Pentateuch or Law, and this year we will survey the history of Israel, starting with Joshua and progressing through to Nehemiah. This is right where we are in the Daily Walk Bible if you are reading along. Hopefully the messages will add insight.

There will also be small groups offered on this material, so check with Pastor Lance Stratton for the latest on where and when these small groups are meeting. Next year we hope to cover the Wisdom Literature, and then in 2008 we will study the Major and Minor Prophets.
