Life's Healing Choices

I find it an absolute joy every day to be the pastor of Gateway Church. I wake up early and study my Bible, read the paper, and think of how we can do ministry better. One of the things we have come across lately is the idea of having more resources available to help people see life change happen. For me, as a pastor, it has always seemed so simple – preach the word, make sure you say things in a compelling way, remarkably life change happens; however, this is not always the case for other’s situations. What we are finding all across America is that many people need more than that. For this sermon series, we have books (also titled Life’s Healing Choices) available at the Welcome Counter. We are selling these for $8 per book (about half price) and it is a well written book by John Baker. We have free resources for the small groups participating in the companion study.
